The Sixth Day A Brit in the FBI Catherine Coulter JT Ellison Books

This thriller was loads of fun...action, character, and a bit of the bizarre. I have missed a couple of the Brit in the FBI novels, and I intend to correct that very soon. It was fun to have the entire story based in or around London this time. I've never been to London (it's on my bucket list) and I have never thought about whether I'd enjoy a novel set there. I did! The plot was very timely, technology and drones, but these authors never talk down to their readers, even when explaining complicated stuff. The ending was smart, exciting, and complete. No cliffhangers here! If you can deal with a bit of somewhat unbelievable stuff, including parts of the Dracula legend and an enchanting centuries old manuscript, you might like it as much as I did. Recommended.

The Sixth Day A Brit in the FBI Catherine Coulter JT Ellison Books Reviews

A weak attempt to bring the FBI series into the vampire realm. Some interesting characters, but the plot felt contrived, forced and desperate. I forced myself to finish it, but only because I already paid for it. Don't make that mistake.
Especially those about the FBI and A Brit in the FBI! I love, love Nicholas and Michaela together they are awesome! Love the chemistry and the humor and I love it when they bring back old favorites from the previous books, like Savich, Sherlock, Adam and Ben! This one was hair easing and scary esp when you realize what those drones can do! Where is my next, Brit in the FBI book...congrats Sir Nicholas and Damn Michaela!
If you're a fan of Catherine Coulter, especially her newer Brit in the FBI series, you'll love this. As with all Ms. Coulter's books, I tried to pace myself in order to make the story last longer, but as usual, that didn't happen. I finished the book in 3 days . . . due to working every day. Her stories are so good, I hate to put them down! If you haven't tried her books, you'll be pleasantly surprised, and you have a lot of them to read; you won't regret your purchases.
I love the Brit in the FBI series!! I always pre-order each book as soon as it's available. However, The Sixth Day disappointed me somewhat. It was a slower, drier read than normal for me. There was still plenty of action, and I love the interaction between Mike and Nicholas. For some reason the book just seemed dragged out.
You should, by all means, form your own opinion. And remember, until this point, I have thoroughly enjoyed this series.
Stilted; redundant; boring. Ridiculous and silly premise. The book leans heavily on the real "Dracula" from history to bring drama and intrigue to the story, but all it really does is irritate me that I paid $13.99 for this waste of time.
I have read Ms. Coulter for years, but this book was such a huge disappointment on every level; I could not even finish it. Not sure what happened to her editors and support team to let this book be released. But I do not follow her anymore and this will be last book I purchase.
Disappointing. Come on, Vampires? There were way to many people and an impossible story concept to believe. It was easy to lay down, and I did several times. I really had to force myself to finish the story. The ending wasn't bad, it took a long time to get there. Not one of their best.
